Reliable online counselling across the UK
We moved our entire practice online during the pandemic. Since doing so in March 2020, we have found it to be just as powerful as meeting face to face and believe we are still able to offer a safe, confidential and effective way to start or continue your counselling journey. Although Covid-19 restrictions have now faded into memory, we continue to work exclusively online, allowing us to offer our services nationally as well as locally.
The need for mental health and counsellor led support increased hugely during the pandemic and its lasting effect on our world, and our mental health, cannot be underestimated. Many also face ongoing challenges and uncertainty as the cost-of-living crisis continues to take its toll, with finances and resilience being stretched ever further. Incomes have fallen (in real terms) for many, causing a great deal of worry, and unfortunately making much needed mental health support become unaffordable for many people.

Where do National Low Cost Counselling clients come from?
Formerly called Low Cost Counselling London, our organisation was originally based at our therapy centre in Richmond, serving the West London areas of Barnes, Chiswick, Hammersmith, Mortlake, Richmond, Teddington and Twickenham.
Since moving our practice online at the start of the pandemic, and with sessions now taking place on Skype or Zoom, we are able to offer our exclusively online counselling over a wider geographical area. Whether you’re a supervisor in Salisbury, a mechanic in Morecombe, or a warden in Warwick, we are here to help with your mental health needs by matching you with an online counsellor - at a time that suits you, at an affordable price, and without ever having to factor in travel time and costs.
Our online counselling team
Our online counselling service is staffed by carefully selected counsellors who are close to completing their professional training in Counselling and Psychotherapy, or who are qualified but have not yet taken up full professional status. Each member of our therapist team is supported in their work by one of our experienced professional supervisors.
Our low cost counselling service
Each 55 minute session will typically cost between £15 and £25.
The service is open from 9am to 10pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays.

We aim to set up your initial assessment with Tony within a few days (subject to availability), and place you with a suitable counsellor soon after that. Our waiting lists are generally very short, which isn't usually the case elsewhere.

Since we only provide online counselling (via Skype or Zoom), you can have counselling with one of our team from anywhere in the UK. Whether in West London or Warwickshire, Richmond or Rochdale, Twickenham or Totnes, we are here to help you.
Unfortunately we are not able to work with those residing or travelling outside the UK.
